Elle Mayo is the founder of Dance Roots Etc., LLC, a boutique production company specializing in choreography, artist development, movement coaching, and dance education. Her career began at the Apollo Theater before moving into Artist & Repertoire at Verve Records and Columbia Records/Sony Music, contributing to projects for Nas, 50 Cent, Wyclef, and Three 6 Mafia.

Her performance and choreography credits include Law & Order, an AOL commercial, Malibu Rum promotions, and the US Open Fan Week, as well as original works for Newark Arts Festival, Arts Unbound, Herrick’s Dance Repertory, Branch Brook Park Alliance, indie artists, and step, hip hop, and Afrobeat workshops nationwide.

Extending her creativity beyond the stage, Elle founded Elle Mayo Designs, a jewelry and design studio where her afro-bohemian and urban chic pieces embody the same movement, rhythm, and individuality that define her dance work.
